Infections and infectious diseases are a major cause of illness and death. Infectious diseases can spread. As with all illnesses, prevention is better than cure.

Who is it aimed at? 

Any employee or manager working within an environment where there is risk of infection. The course may be particularly useful for healthcare professionals and adult care workers and may be particularly useful for apprentices. The course can be used as a stand-alone module or as part of an induction programme.
